Getting to New Hampshire is relatively easy, with excellent connections by road and rail. Manchester Airport provides links with the rest of the US and Canada.

Tax free shopping, the White Mountains and outdoor pursuits attract visitors to New Hampshire. The outlet malls of North Conway are a bargain hunters paradise; while the summit of Mount Washington ,at over 6000 foot the highest peak in New England, can be reached by foot, the Cog Railway or the Mount Washington Autoroute.

Lakes, beaches , mountains, scenic drives and traditional New England villages provide variety and choice and water sports and winter sports are well catered for.

New Hampshire lies in northern New England, sandwiched between Vermont and Maine, with Massachusetts to the south and Canada to the north. The state is served by Manchester airport, Amtrak, Greyhound and Peter Pan buses and has good Interstate road links. Boston is only just across the state line, which provides numerous public transport options.

Manchester International Airport

Manchester Airport has regular flights to many destinations in the US and Canada including New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Washington Toronto and Minneapolis.

Just an hour's drive from Boston, Manchester provides an alternative to the far busier Logan Airport. The Manchester Shuttle runs every two hours throughout the day between the airport and Sullivan Square MBTA station in Boston, with connections to the orange line. This service is free of charge for holders of a valid airline ticket from Manchester. Conveniently situated, the airport is less than two miles from exit 2 on the I293.

Rail Services

Amtrak

Amtrak services to New Hampshire are very limited, with just four stations in the entire state. The Vermonter, from New York to St Albans calls at Claremont and the Downeaster, from Boston to Portland stops at Dover, Durham and Exeter.

Bus Services

Greyhound Buses , in conjunction with Vermont Transit serve Hanover, New London, Concord, Manchester, North Conway and Nashua, with routes to Boston, Montreal, White River Junction and Burlington, Vermont.
